a. Task 1: Field Survey - Within 14 days of the commencement of <br /> construction activities, a nesting bird survey would be conducted. The <br /> intent of the survey would be to determine if active nests of bird species <br /> protected by the Migratory Bird Treaty Act (16 U.S.C. 704) or the <br /> California Fish and Game Code (Section 3503) are present on the project <br /> site or within 300 feet of disturbance area. All bird species observed will <br /> be recorded and the location of any active nests present will be mapped. <br /> b. Task 2: Survey Report - A report documenting the findings and methods of <br /> the survey will be prepared and submitted. The report will include a map <br /> showing the locations of any observed active bird nests, as well as a list of <br /> all bird species observed during the surveys. If necessary, the report will <br /> provide recommendations for avoiding the disturbance of any active bird <br /> nests present. <br /> 6. POST CONSTRUCTION PHASE <br /> After acceptance of each construction contract, CONSULTANT will prepare a <br /> Construction Completion Report that will include: <br /> • Summary of scope, cost, and schedule changes and the reason for the <br /> changes <br /> • Summary of project costs <br /> • Comprehensive Project Records (per Caltrans requiremerts) <br /> Consulting Services Agreement between July 16, 2013 <br /> City of Pleasanton and Carlson Management, Inc.
