Review the submitted proposals and award the traffic signal maintenance
contract to Cal-West for a monthly amount of$150 per traffic signal.
2. Authorize the City Manager to enter into the above maintenance contract.
3. Authorize the Director of Community Development to review and approve future
contract extensions per the provisions of the contract.
FINANCIAL STATEMENT
The majority of funding for traffic signal maintenance is included in the Traffic
Engineering Division's operating budget. The Hacienda Business Park Owners'
Association is responsible for the maintenance costs of 29 signals ($52,200), and
Caltrans is responsible for half of the cost for intersection signals al: freeway ramps
($9,000).
