SUPPLEMENTAL MATERIAL
Karen Gonzales
fl.,.;J.,J
From: Joanne Hall After Distribution of Packet
Sent: Tuesday, June 04, 2013 8:49 AM
To: mcmillion; Mayor and City Council
Cc: Susan Andrade-Wax; Pleasanton City Clerk; Daniel QThfl • I /7 13
Subject: RE: Alviso Adobe Park
Dear Ms. McMillion,
Thank you very much for your valuable input regarding Alviso Adobe Community Park. This
message acknowledges receipt of your email. Please rest assured that the City Council
will have the benefit of your comments.
Kind Regards,
Joanne Hall
Public Information Officer
City of Pleasanton
From: mcmillion [
Sent: Monday, June 03, 2013 6:53 PM
To: Mayor and City Council
Subject: Alviso Adobe Park
Dear Mayor and Pleasanton City Council members:
I am writing to you to encourage your support of the Alviso Adobe Park in Pleasanton when you consider
tomorrow's budget. As a "Friends of the Alviso Adobe" (under the leadership of Dolores Bengtson), I believe
the park has a lot of potential to offer a comprehensive interpretive experience for our Pleasantonians and Tri-
Valley residents -- if the Alviso Adobe Park gets adequate increased funding to create a more comprehensive
program for our citizens. Our "Friends" group has many ideas about ways to enhance this valuable Alviso
Adobe Park, but we need your support to prioritize this Park.
I am a 4th generation Pleasanton resident and my family ranched and farmed in the Mohr Avenue area(my
great grandfather was Henry Mohr). I am excited to be involved with a"Friends" group in keeping our past
history alive by offering educational programs on what it was like to live, farm and ranch in Pleasanton.
As a Mayor and City Council member, we need your voice and support to make our dream come true. Let's
keep our history alive!
Thank you in advance,
Donna McMillion

1
