ATTACHMENT 2 <br /> Scope of Services <br /> 1) Pacific Coast Repertory Theatre (PCRT) will produce three productions in partnership with the <br /> City of Pleasanton's Civic Arts Presents Programs. <br /> 2) PCRT shall secure the rights for pre-existing scripts and adaptations of pre-existing work. <br /> 3) For the 2013/2014 Season PCRT will produce the following three shows: <br /> a. Fall: Little Shop of Horrors <br /> b. Winter: Chorus Line <br /> c. Spring: Music Man <br /> RIGHTS PERMITTING <br /> 4) PCRT shall provide all Artistic and Stage Director services; as such, PCRT shall cast each <br /> show, conduct rehearsals, work with designers and carry out the artistic vision for the show <br /> and the program overall. <br /> 5) PCRT shall provide one production stage manager to coordinate rehearsals, technical aspects <br /> and "call" each show. PCRT shall also provide an ASM/props person to further enhance the <br /> supervision of the production. <br /> 6) PCRT shall provide all design elements reasonably necessary including: <br /> a. Set Design - PCRT shall employ a Set designer and builders to create a set appropriate <br /> for each production. <br /> b. Costume Design — PCRT shall employ a Costume designer and builder to create, rent, <br /> or "pull" all costumes appropriate for this production. PCRT will keep whatever <br /> costumes it "builds". <br /> c. Lighting Design - PCRT shall employ a Lighting designer to create light plot, supervise <br /> light hang and focus and work with director to create cues to enhance theatrical <br /> production. Lighting designer will use only existing lighting equipment inventory of the <br /> Firehouse Theater, unless agreed to in advance by City of Pleasanton. City of <br /> Pleasanton may elect to execute light hang and focus with City Tech Staff only OR with <br /> approved contracted staff. Firehouse to provide color gels. <br /> d. Props - PCRT shall acquire all props needed for each production, either by renting, <br /> building or purchasing each prop. PCRT will keep whatever props, it "builds". <br /> e. Choreographer, Music Director, High Quality Recorded Musical Tracks —for musicals, <br /> PCRT shall also provide these additional elements. <br /> f. Special skills (puppetry, fight choreographer, etc) as reasonably required by specific <br /> production. <br /> g. Sound designer/operator—City of Pleasanton will provide a qualified staff person, at <br /> City's sole expense, to fill this position. City will make a concerted effort to make <br /> available the Lead Technician; however, if he is not available another highly qualified <br /> tech will be supplied. Such staff person shall attend all rehearsals and performances as <br /> reasonably required. <br /> 7) PCRT will facilitate collaboration with City of Pleasanton staff by sharing design concepts as <br /> they are developed. PCRT will make the final artistic decisions for each production. <br />
