The local <br /> edia will be provided with updates on PPS. The use of social media will be implemented an. <br /> include program updates via City of Pleasanton website, Face-book and Twitter, and F--newsletter <br /> • rticles. Information about PPS will be included in the City's quarterly newsletter"Pleasanton <br /> oday"which reaches all Pleasanton residents. Lastly, information will be included in all of the <br /> Pleasanton Senior Center publications, including its monthly newsletter and E-newsletter, <br /> istributed to over 150 seniors. <br /> ELIGIBILITY AND ENROLLMENT <br /> 9. What is your eligibility process and how do consumers enroll in your program? (max. <br /> 400 characters) <br /> PPS eligibility requires riders to be Pleasanton or Sunol residents, 70 years or older or ADA eligible <br /> 18 years of age or older. A PPS application is provided to all seniors 70 years and older and those <br /> .dults 18-69 years of age are provided an ADA application and referred to LAVTA's A.DA <br /> oordinator for assistance and evaluation. Applications are accepted by mail, walk-in or fax. <br /> 10. How long does it take for an applicant to be enrolled in your program and become <br /> eligible to utilize the services offered? (max. 400 characters) <br /> • pplications are processed daily and most clients are accepted to ride within 48 hours. During FY <br /> 11-12, 161 new clients registered and used PPS. In FY 12-13, it is estimated that 160 new riders will <br /> egister. <br /> EXPECTED USE OF SERVICES <br /> 11.
