I attended the February 12th
City Council meeting and spoke on behalf of the Bridle Creek residents. You have a tape of my speech that I gave that
night but I will reiterate the main points.
The residents of Bridle Creek walked the streets to get signatures to put Measure PP on the ballot. We held a general
election and guess what?? Measure PP passed by a vote of 59.52%yes votes versus 40.48% no . Now you want to
-hange the wording on the measure to keep your"Promise" to a select few. The only way you can change PP legally is to
,old another General Election. Sunset Creek Lane is on a 25%slope and Measure PP prohibits housing units from being
developed on slopes of 25%or greater. If you were to extend the road on Sunset Creek Lane, fou would have to build a
bridge over the creek to extend the road over to Lund Ranch.
Measure PP was put on the ballot for the People of Pleasanton. The residents of Bridle Creek would like you to honor
this in regard to the community. We did not move here to have the LA freeway running through our neighborhood.
Sincerely,
Cindy &Vic LeLaurin
Sunset Creek Lane

1
