• Measure PP that was passed by the voters in November 2008 states:
0
Housing units and structures shall not be placed on slopes of 25% or greater or within 100 vertical feet c'
a ridgeline. Also, no grading to construct residential (more than 10 units) or commercial structures shall
occur on slopes of 25% or greater or within 100 vertical feet of a ridgeline.
0
The provisions of Measure PP may be amended or repealed only by the voters of the City of Pleasanton
at a city general election.
0
The provisions of Measure PP override any existing General Plan.
• Because Measure PP overrides the existing General Plan, which by reference includes Specific Plans,
there should be no exemption for streets or roads that are included in Specific Plans or the General
Plan. The city needs to support the citizens that overwhelmingly passed Measure PP, without
exception.
We sincerely hope the City of Pleasanton will stand by Measure PP as originally written and intended and not
accept nor adopt revisions that do not support the voter-approved initiative.
Thank you for your consideration, Matt and Sue Gillespie
Click here to report this email as spam.
2
