Commissioners discussed the proposal by Pacific Coast Repertory Theatre and Tri-Valley Repertory Theater to combine their grants requests. They discussed the cost of the equipment and how it would enhance the programs provided by these repertory companies. Commissioners also discussed the possibility that equipment could be bought by the City of Pleasanton for the Firehouse Arts Facility and made available for Pacific: Coast Repertory Theatre. It was suggested that this recommendation be presented to City Council for consideration. Commissioners considered all of the funding requests and made their recommendations. Commissioner Nealy questioned whether the Commission should consider setting aside funds for possible future funding of the Arts in School program. Ms. Crose advised that the Commission could send a request to City Council for this to be considered in the future.
