All applicable building permit plan sheets shall be modified to show two crosswalks in the eastern drive aisle as shown on the PUD landscape plans. The southernmost crosswalk in the eastern drive aisle shall include a speed table to slow vehicular traffic. Said modifications shall be shown on the plans submitted for issuance of building permits and shall be subject to the review and approval by the Traffic Engineer prior to issuance of building permits for the project. 85. The applicant/developer shall modify the submitted plans to include an enhanced pedestrian crossing through the retail parking lot; this design shall include a speed table to control vehicle speed and encourage pedestrian activity. Said modifications shall be shown on the plans submitted for issuance of building permits and shall be subject to the review and approval by the Traffic Engineer prior to issuance of building permits for the project. Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department 86. The buildings and parking garage covered by this approval shall be equipped with an automatic fire sprinkler system. Plans and specifications for the automatic fire sprinkler system shall be submitted for review and approval by the Livermore- Pleasanton Fire Department prior to installation. The fire alarm system, including water flow and valve tamper, shall have shop drawings submitted for review and approval by the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department prior to installation. All required inspections and witnessing of tests shall be completed prior to final inspection and occupancy of the building(s). 87. Valve tamper and water flow shall be monitored by an approved supervising station in accordance with NFPA 72 and the California Fire Code. 88. Access for this project is acceptable by the Fire Marshal as currently shown on the PUD development plan. Unless otherwise approved by the Fire Marshal, the applicant/developer shall not modify the site access that deviates from the following requirements: Buildings or portions of buildings or facilities exceeding 30 feet (9144 mm) in height above the lowest level of fire department vehicle access shall be provided with approved fire apparatus access roads capable of accommodating fire department aerial apparatus. Fire apparatus access roads shall have a minimum unobstructed width of 26 feet in the immediate vicinity of any building or portion of building more than 30 feet (9144 mm) in height. At least one of the required access routes meeting this condition shall be located within a minimum of 15 feet (4572 mm) and a maximum of 30 feet (9144 mm) from the building, and shall be positioned parallel to one entire side of the building. 15 of 34
