I � ; r d <br /> Affordable Housing Agreement <br /> The Housing Site Development Standards and Design Guidelines set forth that all <br /> development shall comply with the City's Inclusionary Zoning Ordinance (IZO). In <br /> accordance with the IZO, each developer of a multi-family development with more than <br /> 15 units is required to submit an affordable housing proposal which sets forth the <br /> approach for meeting the terms of the IZO. The affordable housing proposal is then <br /> reviewed by the Housing Commission which shall recommend that the City Council <br /> either accept, reject, or modify the proposal. After conducting two public meetings <br /> (February 21 and March 21) to review two specific affordable housing options, the <br /> Housing Commission rejected two staff and developer options based on concern that <br /> both failed to meet the terms of the IZO.
