have received all prior governmental approvals, except <br />for subdivision approval, at least 30 days prior to the <br />date set by the City Council for receipt of applications. <br />The following are examples, though not exclusive, of <br />required prior approvals: <br /> <br /> (i) If the project requires Planned <br /> Unit Development (PUD) or Hillside <br /> Planned Unit Development (HPD) <br /> approvals, all necessary general <br /> plan changes, zoning and development <br /> plan approvals must have been <br /> received. <br /> <br /> (ii) If the project involves regular <br /> zoning (R-1-6500, etc.), requiring <br /> only approval of tentative and <br /> final maps, the environmental <br /> assessment must be completed and <br /> the preliminary plan and all other <br /> required information must have been <br /> submitted and reviewed by the Staff <br /> Review Board. <br /> <br /> (iii)If the project only requires Design <br /> Review approval, it must have " <br /> received all of saidapprovalS.i ~. <br /> <br />Any project not covered by a long-term agreement and <br />meeting the above listed prior governmental approvals <br />is eligible to apply. <br /> <br /> (6) Number of Units Per Project. A developer <br />may apply for any number of units not to exceed the <br />maximum number per project for that year's allocation <br />established by the City Council at the time of establishing <br />the yearly allocation for smaller projects. <br /> <br /> (7) Selection of Projects. Procedures for <br />the selection of projects to receive development approval <br />shall be set forth in the growth management procedures <br />and guidelines established pursuant to Section 2-20.08. <br /> <br /> (8) Requirements of Projects Selected. <br />Projects approved shall be required to meet any requirements <br />designed to promote the public health, safety, and <br />general welfare and to conform to the General Plan <br />goals and policies contained in the guidelines established <br />pursuant to Section 2-20.08. <br /> <br /> (9) Lapse of Development Approval.
