Environmental Consulting Services <br /> PROPOSED PROJECT TEAM <br /> Project Director <br /> Mary Bean,AICP,A former County planner from Santa Barbara, Mary Bean has more than 20 years of <br /> experience in land use planning, in both the public and private sectors.She specializes in finding ways to <br /> streamline the environmental process, by carefully scrutinizing projects and tailoring analyses to produce <br /> concise and defensible documents. Her projects range from commercial and residential infill; large-scale <br /> subdivisions and mixed-use developments; public facilities such as hospitals and fire stations;transportation, <br /> transit, and heavy rail corridors;data centers; and annexations. Her depth of experience allows her to be <br /> particularly effective in strategizing with clients about the most efficient approach to CEQA and/or NEPA <br /> clearance at the local,state, and national levels. <br /> Mary is a member of several professional planning organizations, including American Planning Association, <br /> Association of Environmental Professionals, Women's Transportation Seminar, and the Urban Land Institute. <br /> By invitation she serves on panels to educate and inform planners about the ever changing landscape of CEQA <br /> regulations. Mary earned a Bachelor's degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara,where she <br /> majored in Environmental Studies and Planning. <br /> Availability: 25% <br /> Billing Rate:$210/hr <br /> CEQA Project Managers and Support Resources <br /> Janna Waligorski offers three years of experience as an urban cartographer and environmental analyst.She <br /> has prepared a wide range of planning and environmental impact analysis documents for local jurisdictions in <br /> Northern California.Janna has worked on Environmental Impact Reports, Initial Studies, Mitigated Negative <br /> Declarations, and Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Programs. Janna has completed CEQA documentation <br /> for residential,commercial, retail, and industrial projects;with extensive work on constraints analyses, <br /> environmental justice issues,farmland conversation,transportation and circulation, and visual impacts <br /> (aesthetics), most notably the California Department of Transportation Visual Impact Analysis methodology. <br /> Janna also offers expansive experience in Geographic Information Systems and graphic applications which <br /> allows her to understand and articulate complex spatial concepts.Janna joined MBA in 2008. He joined MBA in 2010 and possesses 11 years of professional experience in the <br /> processing and entitlement of Environmental Impact Reports(EIRS)for large-scale,complex projects and in the <br /> preparation of Mitigated Negative Declarations (MNDS)and Initial Studies(155) commercial, retail, and complex <br /> mixed-use redevelopment projects in environmentally sensitive areas. He has also managed CEQA projects <br /> related to general plan revisions,zone changes,conditional use permits, master plans, and specific plans. His <br /> areas of emphasis include land use, agriculture resources,aesthetic and visual analysis, public services and <br /> utilities, and hazards. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners(AICP).Jason earned a <br /> Master's degree in Public Administration from California State University at Bakersfield.
