Funding is distributed to jurisdictions based on population and <br /> number of registered vehicles. Staff recommends that Pleasanton Vehicle Registration <br /> Fee Local Road Improvement and Repair funds for fiscal year 2011-12 and 2012-13 be <br /> used for various transportation projects. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> 1. Approve the use of Pleasanton Vehicle Registration Fee (VRF) Local Road <br /> Improvement and Repair funds, fiscal year 2011-12 and 2012-13, for the following <br /> projects: <br /> a. Ace Train Station Improvements <br /> b. West Las Positas Boulevard At Tassajara Creek Repair Of Roadway <br /> Settlement <br /> c. Annual Resurfacing of Various City Streets <br /> 2. Appropriate $68,051.76 of VRF funds to reimburse Alameda County for Ace Train <br /> Station Improvements. <br /> 3. Appropriate $50,000.00 of VRF funds to West Las Positas Road at Tassajara Creek <br /> Repairs, CIP 115014, to fund additional scope of work. <br /> 4. Appropriate the balance of VRF funds ($513,434.24) to the Annual Resurfacing of <br /> Various City Streets project, CIP No. 125003, to fund additional roadway <br /> resurfacing. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> The funding for these projects comes from Alameda County Measure F VRF Local <br /> Road Improvement and Repair funds. The City received $336,941 in VRF funding for <br /> fiscal year 2011-12 and is estimated to receive $294,545 for fiscal year 2012-13 for <br /> local road improvement and repair. <br /> Ace Train Station Improvements (Reimb.to County) $68,051.76 <br /> West Las Positas Boulevard at Tassajara Creek Repairs $50,000.00 <br /> Annual Resurfacing of Various City Streets $513,434.24 <br /> Total $631,486.00 <br />
