Ordinance No. 1886 <br />Page 3 of 3 <br /> <br />The provisions of this Chapter do not apply to nursing homes and senior <br />care/assisted living facilities as defined in Chapter 18.08. <br /> <br />Section 4: <br /> <br />If any provision of this ordinance is deemed unconstitutional or invalid by a court <br />of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be severed from the ordinance and <br />such severance shall not affect the constitutionality or validity of the remainder of <br />the ordinance. <br /> <br />Section 5: <br /> <br />A summary of this ordinance shall be published once within fifteen (15) days after <br />its adoption in "The Valley Times," a newspaper of general circulation published <br />in the City of Pleasanton, and the complete ordinance shall be posted for fifteen <br />(15) days in the City Clerk's office within fifteen (15) days after its adoption. <br /> <br />Section 6: <br /> <br />This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days after the date of its final passage <br />and adoption. <br /> <br />INTRODUCED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Pleasanton on June 3, <br />2003. <br /> <br />ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Pleasanton on June 17, 2003 <br />by the following vote: <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br />ABSTAIN: <br /> <br />Councilmembers -Ayala, Brozosky, Campbell, Hosterman, and Mayor Pico <br />None <br />None <br />None ,- ' [~ <br /> <br /> TOM PICO, MAYOR <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM:. <br /> <br />Michael H.
