THE CITY OF 6 <br /> CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> pLEASANTON. <br /> September 18, 2012 <br /> Community Development <br /> Engineering Division <br /> TITLE: ACCEPT PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS CONSTRUCTED IN CONJUNCTION <br /> WITH THE SAFEWAY CENTER ON THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF <br /> BERNAL AVENUE AND VALLEY AVENUE <br /> SUMMARY <br /> Property Development Centers LLC has completed offsite improvements required for <br /> development of the Safeway Center on the southwest corner of Bernal Avenue and <br /> Valley Avenue. These improvements generally consisted of the modification of the <br /> signal at the intersection of Bernal Avenue and Koll Center Drive, and the addition of <br /> left and right turn lanes on Bernal Avenue into the development. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: <br /> 1. Accept public improvements constructed by Property Development Centers, LLC. <br /> 2. Authorize the City Clerk to file a Notice of Completion. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> There will be a nominal increase in annual maintenance costs due to additional roadway <br /> facilities and signal equipment. <br />
