WORKPLAN <br /> MEETINGS <br /> Community Workshop <br /> Task Force 2 <br /> City Council 1 <br /> TASK 4—PLAN The objective of this task is to ntilie the results of the constraints and opportunities <br /> DEVELOPMENT assessment and input from Task I'iirce and community to define possible alternatives. The <br /> alternatives will be developed utilising planning principles to provide a mixture of land use <br /> types, incorporate sustainability prgrams, integrate open space and circulation;and <br /> establish connections to existing community. <br /> Subtask 4.1 -Alternative Work with Task Force (Meeting#6) to identify land use programs and key <br /> Development/Task Force policies for exploration of three (3) alternatives. Alternatives shall include: <br /> Meeting#6 1. Land use densities and mix <br /> 2. Circulation hierarchies <br /> 3. Park open space and trail system <br /> 4. Community Structure (gateway, entries,common areas) <br /> 5. Mitigation strategy for a range of environmental constraints, <br /> including: <br /> - traffic impacts <br /> -infrastructure and service capacities <br /> -habitat / vegetation preservation <br /> Subtask 4.2-Committee/ Present the Task Force's land use programs and key policies to: <br /> Commission Meetings 1. Economic Vitality Committee <br /> 2. Bicycle, Pedestrian and Trails Committee <br /> 3. Parks&Recreation Commission <br /> 4. Housing Commission <br /> 5. Planning Commission <br /> In PowerPoint format,present: <br /> • Background information <br /> • Alternatives <br /> Facilitate meetings to solicit further input on plan alternatives. <br /> Subtask 4.3 —Draft Plan Incorporate community,Task Force,Committee and Commission input into <br /> Alternatives Report Draft Plan Alternatives Report, summarize features,benefits and impacts <br /> associated with each alternative. <br /> Subtask 4.4- Review of Facilitate Task Force Meeting#7 to refine and complete Plan Alternatives <br /> Alternatives Report /Task Report. <br /> Force Meeting #7 <br /> Subtask 4.5 -City Council Prepare exhibits and present Plan Alternatives Report.
