Irrigation and Landscaping Improvements at El Charro Road and the I-580 Interchange (GIP 115023) <br /> July 31, 2012 <br /> Page 1 <br /> EXHIBIT A <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> This agreement is made as of July 31,2012 by and between Gates +Associates, (GATES) [California License <br /> No. 1550],a California corporation,and City of Pleasanton(Client). <br /> As provided in this Agreement,GATES will provide landscape architectural services for the following project <br /> (the "Project"): <br /> Irrigation and Landscaping Improvements at El Charro Road and the I-580 Interchange (OP 115023) <br /> I. BASIC SERVICES <br /> TASK 1 -PROJECT The objective of this task is to work with City staff to define landscape concept fOr <br /> MANAGEMENT/ El Charm/Interchange. <br /> CONCEPT <br /> DEVELOPMENT <br /> Subtask 1.1 - Project Meet with City staff to review project goals and constraints. Review <br /> Administration opportunities for. <br /> • Gateway Landscape visual enhancements <br /> • Conformance with Bay Friendly Guidelines <br /> • Caltrans parameters <br /> Obtain and review: <br /> • Topographic base information <br /> • Caltrans agreement <br /> • Improvement plans for other quadrants of interchange <br /> Field reconnaissance to review existing site conditions including: <br /> • Character of surrounding landscape/ uses <br /> • Limits of work for project <br /> Work with Staff to: <br /> • develop and maintain project schedule <br /> • day-to-day project administration to insure compliance with <br /> City requirements and standards <br /> • Prepare brief monthlysummary of project status <br /> Subtask 1.2 - Concept Develop concepts for landscape treatment consistent with Caltrans <br /> Development Standards; including: setbacks, conflicts with utility lines, and budget <br /> parameters. Identify landscape palette, irrigation equipment consistent <br /> with use of recycled water and maintenance expectations. <br />
