overtime pay at straight time: <br /> New Year' s Day <br /> Washington' s Birthday <br /> Memorial Da~ <br /> Independence Day <br /> <br />Labor Day <br /> <br />Admfssion Day <br /> <br />Thanksgiving Day <br /> <br />Christmas Day <br /> <br /> e) Overtime may be worked when approved by proper authority or <br />in the event of an emergency and such time shall be credited to the employee <br />at straight ttm~. Overtime will be returned to the employee in the form <br />of compensatory time off, but if not so returned within a period of six <br />months, pay may be authorized for the overtime at straight time rates in <br />effect at the time the overtime credAt is earned. <br /> <br /> f) Vacation leave credit shall be credited to the employee at <br />the rate of tern (10) days per year for the first te~ years of service and <br />at the rate of fifteen (15) days after (10) years of service, provided <br />however that pay for any vacation leave taken during the first year of ser- <br />vice shall be returned to the City should the employee taking such leave <br />be terminated during the first year of service and provided further that <br />pay for any vacation taken in advance of vacation leave credit shall also <br />be returned to the City should the employee terminate prior to the time the <br />said vacation leave is earned. <br /> <br /> g) The City shall participate in the group health insurance plan <br />to the extent of fifty percent (50%) of the premium of the employee and his <br />spouse and dependent children under 21 years of age so concerned by group <br />health insurance as said premium rates are set at the time of the passage <br />of this resolution. <br /> <br /> AND BE IT FURTHER RESOL¥~ that the salary rates, ranges and <br />steps and employment benefits provided for herein shall become effective <br />on November 1, 1957 and that resolutions - or portions of resolution o~ <br />policy expressed in any other form in conflict herewith are hereby rescinded <br /> <br /> <br />
