EXHIBIT A <br /> Scope of Services <br /> 1) San Francisco Shakespeare Festival (SFSF) will produce three productions in partnership with <br /> the City of Pleasanton's Civic Arts Stage Company. <br /> 2) SFSF shall provide a complete production of Free Shakespeare in the Park <br /> 3) SFSF shall provide site services as necessary to accommodate audiences at Free <br /> Shakespeare in the Park and shall coordinate all installations with the City of Pleasanton. <br /> 4) SFSF shall secure the rights for pre-existing scripts (Pippi Longstocking), and adaptations of <br /> pre-existing work (Puss in Boots, Ramayana.) <br /> 5) SFSF shall provide all Artistic and Stage Director services; as such, we shall cast each show, <br /> conduct rehearsals, work with designers and carry out the artistic vision for the show and the <br /> program overall. <br /> 6) SFSF shall provide casting assistance by pre-casting professional actors in key roles and by <br /> managing the casting process. <br /> 7) SFSF will provide one production stage manager to coordinate rehearsals, technical aspects <br /> and "call" each show. SFSF shall also provide an ASM/props person to further enhance the <br /> supervision of the production. <br /> 8) SFSF will provide all design elements including: <br /> a. Set Design - SFSF will hire Set designer and builders to create a set appropriate for this <br /> production. <br /> b. Costume Design - SFSF will hire Costume designer and builder to create, rent, or "pull" <br /> all costumes appropriate for this production. SFSF will keep whatever costumes it <br /> "builds". <br /> c. Lighting Design - SFSF will hire Lighting designer to create light plot, supervise light <br /> hang and focus and work with director to create cues to enhance theatrical production. <br /> Lighting designer will use only existing lighting equipment inventory of the Amador and <br /> FirehouseTheaters, unless agreed to in advance by CoP. <br /> d. Props - SFSF will acquire all props needed for this production, either by renting, building <br /> or purchasing each prop. <br /> e. Choreographer, Music Director, Musicians —for musicals, SFSF shall also provide these <br /> additional elements. <br /> f. Special skills (puppetry, fight choreographer, etc) as required by specific production. <br /> g. Sound designer/operator— SFSF shall provide one person to design all sound aspects <br /> of each show, attend all necessary production meetings, and run the sound board for <br /> every performance. CoP may elect to provide a staff person to fill this position instead <br /> but must inform SFShakes of this staffing in writing no later than three months prior to <br /> opening night. <br />
