CiTY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STAI'E OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />I~E~ClLUTION NO. <br /> <br />STATING PLEASANTON~S POLICY AS TO <br />THE PROPOSED INDUSTRIAL PARK ON <br />SAN FRANCISCO PROPERT~ SOUTHWEST <br />OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City and County of SAN FR~bNCISC0, a municipal <br />corporation (hereafter called "San Francisco"; and the City of <br />PLEASANTON, a general law city (hereafter called "Pleasanton"; <br />have for the last year discussed, conferred and negotiated <br />towards creating an industrial park of the highest quality on <br />property southwesterly and adjacent to Pleasanton and owned by <br />San Francisco; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, certain progress has been made by the officers of <br />the respective cities, working through a con~nittee and sub- <br />committee, which should be confirmed by the respective legislativ. <br />bodies of the cities; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Pleasanton desires to list in an orderly manner <br />these areas of agreement, so that such an industrial park will <br />soon become a reality, to the benefit of both cities; <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS; <br /> <br /> 1. Pleasanton does hereby affirm the work of its committee <br />in negotiating with San Francisco, and does hereby express the <br />policy of this Council, to the effect that Pleasanton is willing <br />to enter formal contracts with San Francisco ~roviding for de- <br />velopment of a high caliber industrial park and containing the <br /> <br />following provisions: <br /> <br /> a. Jurisdiction. Said <br />to Pleasanton without requiring <br /> <br />industrial park shall be annexed <br />any annexation fee whatsoever. <br /> <br />-1 - <br /> <br /> <br />
