The diagram above outlines <br /> the public spaces, streets and access drives with a Loop Drive to provide commuter, l:axi, and shuttle <br /> access to the BART plaza and station. <br /> Al. BART PLAZA <br /> The BART Plaza is located adjacent to the Kiss and Ride area on the north side of the Loop Drive and <br /> includes the bus canopy and bus bays along BART Access Road. The BART Plaza should be an inviting <br /> and mark the entry to the BART station located under the 1-580 highway overpass. The south bound <br /> bike lane along Willow Road can be marked with special paving through the BART Plaza. To increase <br /> development area and provide more efficient parking structures on the eastern parcel, the bus bays on <br /> the BART Access Road will need to be reconfigured in a more efficient manner reducing overall length <br /> and providing pick up areas nearer to the BART station entry. <br /> 15 WORKSHOP DRAFT <br />
