Invitation to Bid on "As Needed Services" STREETS— Concrete and Sound Wall Repair The following outline provides a scope of work for the City's expectations regarding routine and scheduled sidewalk, curb and gutter, miscellaneous sound wall repairs and resetting of brick paving stones on City right of ways. • Removal and replacement of sidewalk per square foot to include root cutting or grinding, if necessary. • Removal and replacement of curb and gutter per linear foot, to include root cutting or grinding, if necessary. • Removal and replacement of driveway approach per square foot, to include root cutting or grinding, if necessary. • Removal of existing concrete and installation of handicap ramps per City specifications. • Rebuilt-reconstruct damaged cinderblock sound wall per square foot per City specifications. • Resetting of brick paving stones per square foot per City specifications. • Contractor will perform all concrete and asphalt cutting, removing and replacement per City specifications. PARKS - Concrete (Sidewalks and Brick Paving Stones) The City is requesting an experienced licensed contractor to perform sidewalk repairs on an as-needed basis. Removal and replacement work is to be preformed to current City Standards and Specifications Dated January 2011. Replacement concrete is to be 6-sack mix, with a maximum slump of three inches, and 1 lb of lampblack per cubic yard. Work is to include any root pruning if needed, and the proper removal and disposal of all materials and debris. • Removal and replacement of sidewalk per square foot, to include root cutting or grinding, if necessary. • Resetting of brick paving stones per sq. ft, per City specifications. Parks—Landscape Services (Irrigation, planting and General Construction) The City is requesting an experienced and licensed, (C-27 required) contractor to perform routine landscape construction, playground apparatus installation, and renovation work in the City parks and street median areas on an as-needed basis. All work is to be performed to current City Standards and Specifications dated January 2011. Requested unit price quotes are to include the composite price for labor and equipment, including all incidental power tools, hand tools, and vehicles, as well as overhead costs. Rates are to be on-site productive time only and are to include any clean up and disposal costs due to work. 7
