Mr. Cammer advised that funds in the Capital Program could be used for major <br /> repairs as well as other types of capital expenditures. <br /> Commissioner Welsh questioned whether the HUD Operating Subsidy allocation would have <br /> been different if Pleasanton had had a lower balance in its reserve account. <br /> Commissioner Casey asked about the status of the reserve amount over the past several years. <br /> He questioned whether Kottinger Place residents had been notified about the possible <br /> elimination of the social services coordinator. Mr. Cammer advised that residents would not be <br /> notified until a decision regarding the budget was made by the Commission. <br /> Commissioner Welsh discussed with Mr. Cammer the possibility of the social services <br /> coordinator becoming an independent contractor. <br /> A motion was made by Commissioner Welsh, seconded by Commissioner Mermelstein, to: <br /> 1) Adopt the draft resolution approving an amended annual Operating Budget for Kottinger <br /> Place for fiscal year 2012/13 that includes a reduction of$7,259 from Acct. 4210 and a <br /> footnote indicating the Authority authorizes an allocation of$16,999 from the Reserve <br /> Accounts if necessary to meet operating expenses, and; <br /> 2) Recommend that the Housing Authority Board of Directors approve the Operating Budget at <br /> its meeting of June 5, 2012. <br /> ROLL CALL VOTE: <br /> AYES: Commissioners Lopez, Mermelstein, Welsh, and Chairperson Probert <br /> NOES: Commissioner Casey <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> Page -2 - <br />
