REGARDING POOL AND SPA EQUIPMENT; ADD NEW §9.20.045 THIRD PARTY [GARBAGE] REMOVAL PROHIBITED; AMEND CHAPTER 9.24 (SMOKING ...) TO CLARIFY PROHIBITIONS IN OUTDOOR DINING AREAS; AMEND §9.28.020 TO ALLOW PARKING ON IMPROVED SURFACES; AMEND CHAPTER 15.44 (PROTECTION OF SANITARY SEWER...) TO ADDRESS SHARED INTERCEPTORS AND ENFORCEMENT; AMEND CH. 18.08 ([ZONING] DEFINITIONS) AND CH. 18.110 (PERSONAL WIRELESS SERVICE FACILITIES) TO CLARIFY THAT LOCATIONAL STANDARDS FOR WIRELESS FACILITIES APPLY TO ANTENNAS AND NOT EQUIPMENT CABINETS; AMEND CH. 18.84 (SITE, YARD, BULK...) MEMORIALIZING HOW TO MEASURE HEIGHT FOR ACCESSORY STRUCTURES AND HOME SEPARATION REQUIREMENTS; AMEND CHAPTER 19.24 FINAL MAP TO REFLECT CURRENT STAFF TITLES WHEREAS, provisions of the Pleasanton Municipal Code have been found to be out-of- date with current City practices and changes in State law, or require amendment to correct errors or reflect current staff titles; and WHEREAS, this omnibus ordinance involves one action by the City Council to correct and bring up-to-date multiple provisions of the Municipal Code. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. The Municipal Code is amended as follows: a. Amend Section 2.32.070 Organization, Subsection A as follows: 2.32.070 Organization. A. Commissioners shall meet in regular session and elect a chairperson and vice chairperson. The election shall be by a majority vote of the commission, to be held in December of each year. The term of service for these offices shall be one year, beginning in January of each year. No commissioner shall serve more than two consecutive full terms as chairperson or vice chairperson of the commission. B. The commission shall conduct its meetings and business in accordance with the Pleasanton city council's adopted "rules and operating procedures," as said rules and procedures are amended from time to time.
