(max. 300 characters) <br /> Annually,staff sends all 600 registered PPS riders a program evaluation and offers a free ride for completion <br /> of the survey.The FY 10-11 survey results are included as Attachment A.The FY 11-12 survey results will be <br /> completed by May 1,2012 and will be available for review. <br /> 6. Describe how the planning process (e.g., consumer input,surveys and staff analysis) is <br /> connected to the service plan: How do the planned services correspond to the results of <br /> the planning process? (max. 500 characters) <br /> Input from the annual PPS survey,Paratransit Open House and from the PPS Task Force is used to make <br /> improvements to the program.During FY 11-12,staff is working to reduce language barriers for paratransit <br /> riders by developing translated materials.Staff also works to provide local Clipper Card registration which is <br /> a concern of local riders. <br /> 7. (max. 500 characters) <br /> Some of the outreach efforts include:development of a variety of written materials such as brochures and <br /> Flyers,inclusion in the City's Community Services Activities Guide which is delivered to 28,000 households 3 <br /> times a year,updates on the City's web site,outreach fairs including the PPS Annual Transit Fair& <br /> Paratransit Open House,listing in the Tri-Valley Pocket Guide for Human Services,Clipper Card registration <br /> and cross promotion during ticket sales(Wheels&PPS tickets). <br />
