CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 567 <br /> AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 520-(ZONING ORDINANCE) BY CHANGING <br /> IN CERTAIN RESPECTS THE FRONT YARD SET BACK REQUIREMENTS <br /> AS THEY RELATE TO SINGLE FAMILY AND MULTI-FAMILY DWELLINGS <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br /> FOLLOWS : <br /> I. <br /> Section 2 . 100 of Article 2, of Ordinance No . 520 , is hereby <br /> amended so as to change the minimum front yard set back require- <br /> ments from 23 feet to 15 feet with respect to the following <br /> zoning districts : <br /> R-1-10,000 <br /> R-1- 8, 500 <br /> R-1- 7 ,500 <br /> R-1- 6 ,500 <br /> II . <br /> Section 2 . 100 of Article 2 , of Ordinance No . 520 , is hereby <br /> amended so as to change the minimum front yard set back require- <br /> ments from 23 feet to 20 feet for the following zoning districts : <br /> RM-4000 <br /> RM-2500 <br /> RM-2000 <br /> RM-1500 <br /> III . <br /> Section 2 . 102 (a) , of Article 2 , of Ordinance No . 520 , is <br /> hereby amended to provide as follows : <br /> " (a) The minimum front yard for a garage , carport , or off- <br /> street parking space required to serve a dwelling in <br /> the R-1-6, 500, R-1-7 ,500, R-1-8, 500, R-1-10,000 , and <br /> RM districts shall be 23 feet in order to accommodate <br /> a car outside the garage, carport or parking space <br /> without encroaching upon the sidewalk, provided, how- <br /> ever, that where a garage or carport entered parallel <br /> to the street from which it has access , the front <br /> yard for the garage or carport may be 15 feet . " <br /> IV. <br /> Section 2 . 102 , of Article 2, of Ordinance 520, is hereby amend- <br /> ed by the addition thereto of Subsection (d) , said subsection to <br /> provide as follows : <br />
