Chapter 18.84 Site, Yard, Bulk, Usable Open Space and Landscaping Regulations —
Proposed language would clarify measurement of building separation, as well as that
the measurement of the height of an accessory structure is from grade to the maximum
height or peak of the structure. These amendments clarify what has been the City's
practice for over twenty years (since 1990), as well as includes illustrations for better
understanding.
Chapter 19.24 Final Map — References to "Director of Housing and Community
Development" changed to "Director of Community Development" to reflect current City
positions.
Water Connection Fee Changes for New Meters and Eliminated Meters — The proposed
resolution includes amendments for City water connection fees to reflect the water flow
of Omni C2 meters of 2" diameter selected by Zone 7. This change in type of meter is
due to changes by the manufacturer to address new low lead regulatory requirements.
Omni C2 meters flow water at twice the rate of standard displacement meters, hence
the difference in the connection fees. Connection fees are set by Zone 7 based on flow
ratings from the American Water Works Association (AWWA). The proposed resolution
also eliminates the fee for the 1.5 inch turbo meter because that option is no longer
offered by Zone 7 or its manufacturer.
Submitted by: Fiscal Review: Approved y:
Jonathan Lowell Emily Wagner Nelson Fialho
'City Attorney Finance Director City Manager
Attachments:
1.
