Except as otherwise noted in this section, tThe height of a structure shall be measured vertically from the average elevation of the natural grade of the ground covered by the structure to the highest point of the structure or to the coping of a flat roof, to the deck line of a mansard roof, or to the mean height between eaves and ridges for a hip, gable, or gambrel roof. The height of an accessory structure shall be measured from the lowest grade adjacent to the structure to the highest ridge or top of the structure. The height of a fence or a wall used as a fence shall be measured from the higher finished grade adjoining the fence or wall. The average height of a wall of a structure shall be deemed the height of the wall. I. Amend Chapter 19.24 Final Map as follows: Change all references to "Director of Housing and Community Development" to "Director of Community Development". Section 2. A summary of this ordinance shall be published once within fifteen (15) days after its adoption in "The Valley Times," a newspaper of general circulation published in the City of Pleasanton, and the complete ordinance shall be posted for fifteen (15) days in the City Clerk's office within fifteen (15) days after its adoption. Section 3. This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days after its passage and adoption.
