Said property is f~rther described as follows: <br /> <br /> That certain real property lying northerly <br /> of the City of Pleasanton on the southerly <br /> side of Valley Avenue between Santa Rita <br /> and Hopyard Roads. <br /> <br /> 4. The City does continue to offer, undertake and does hereby <br />obligate itself to furnish to the proposed Valley Avenue site, upon <br />annexation~ the following City services: <br /> <br /> Sewer trunks <br /> Treatment at the City sewage treatment plant <br /> City water <br /> Police services <br /> Fire services <br /> <br /> 5. Since April 14, 1958, when Resolution No. 2746 was adopted, the <br />City of Pleasanton has made real progress in preparing for development, <br />including a State college, to wit: <br /> <br /> a. On May 20, 1958, a bond election provided $150,000 for <br /> <br />sewage treatment and $40,000 for storm drainage. <br /> <br /> b. The engineering firm of Clyde C. Kennedy has been retained <br /> <br />to draw up plans and specifications for an expanded sewage treatment plant. <br /> <br /> c. The Main Street Bridge across the Arroyo del Valle has been <br />replaced through the cooperation of Federal, State, and County Public Works <br />Departments. <br /> <br /> d. Negotiations with the ?leasanton Township County Water District <br />for the purchase of the District's distribution system are progressing <br />satisfactorily. <br /> <br /> e.
