M&S Job#19639.010 <br /> Exhibit A <br /> Page 7 of 9 <br /> • Assist the City in final acceptance of the completed improvements. <br /> • Prepare record drawings based on contractor and City inspector"as-built" data and plan mark-ups. <br /> ✓ Provide City with one set of PDF and hardcopy reproducible record drawings. <br /> + Minor supplemental field topography of as-built improvements. <br /> Note:The consultant team will not be responsible for the construction means, methods,techniques, <br /> sequences, or procedures, or for the safety precautions or programs in connection with the construction <br /> work, nor are we responsible for the acts or omissions of contractors or the failure of contractors to <br /> carry out the work in accordance with the plans, specifications, or other contract documents. <br /> TASK 5—REIMBURSEABLES <br /> Reimbursable expenses directly related to the Project services above such as printing, plotting, postage, <br /> delivery,travel, etc. <br /> ADDITIONAL SERVICES <br /> In order to minimize up-front costs and allow the City to adjust the scope as necessary to meet the overall <br /> budget constraints,the following services are not included in the Scope of Services but could be provided if <br /> budget allows: <br /> 1. Specialized Delineation of bike lanes utilizing colored concrete or other materials (similar to the <br /> proposed Staples Ranch development). <br /> 2. Traffic handling and construction phasing plan. <br /> 3. Construction Staking <br /> 4. Staking for, or topographic surveying of, areas outside the approved plans. <br /> 5. Field survey of as-constructed improvements, PG&E facilities or finish graded drainage swales, or <br /> other as-constructed surveys requested to support as-built documents. <br /> 6. Staking for topographic surveys of, or quantity calculations for sub-excavations, undercuts, keyways, <br /> slide repairs,etc. <br /> EXCLUSIONS/ASSUMPTIONS <br /> The following items are specifically excluded from the Scope of Services or are assumed to be provided by <br /> Client or others,or are assumptions related to the scope and fees presented in Exhibit A: <br /> 1. The scope presented assumes that the single preferred design concept established at the 30% plan <br /> level is carried through the 50%, 90% and Final plans without revision to the basic limits of work and <br /> design intent.Any revisions to the preferred design concept after the 50%plans have been completed <br /> will be considered additional services to be billed on a time and materials basis. <br /> 2. To secure permission of the property owner for the Consultant and sub-consultants to enter upon the <br /> property when necessary to accomplish the Services and to obtain permission from affected property <br /> owners if supplemental topo,grading or other work is required to be done on their property. <br /> 3.
