Over the past eight years that he has managed this project,he has been responsible <br /> for over 1,000 on-site cost surveys of certified recycling centers throughout the State. <br /> • Project Director to develop for the California Department of Conservation the 2003/2004 Market <br /> Development and Expansion Grant Program Application(with supporting schedules),the Grant <br /> Agreement Terms and Conditions,and the Grant Program Evaluation Process. <br /> • Project Director to prepare a white paper that included a comprehensive assessment of,and <br /> recommendations for,plastics recycling and resource conservation in California for the California <br /> Integrated Waste Management Board and the California Department of Conservation. This white paper <br /> included market analyses of plastics recycling(including AB 2020 plastic beverage containers,by resin <br /> types)in California. <br /> • Project Director on an engagement to revise a California Department of Conservation software program <br /> used to calculate the cost of recycling for the processing fee. The scope of work included updating a <br /> 1994 Excel spreadsheet used to calculate the cost per ton to recycle aluminum,glass,and PET plastics. <br /> • Project Consultant to assist the California Department of Conservation to conduct three statewide focus <br /> groups to obtain comments,findings,and suggestions from industry participants regarding revisions or <br /> reforms to the State's beverage container recycling program and,specifically,the processing fee <br /> program.
