Notice cards were sent to owners of properties within 1,000 feet of each of the potential housing sites. In addition, the City sent notification to about 450 interested parties who have provided e-mail addresses during the Housing Element update process. ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW The adoption of the Housing Element was part of the project which was described in the Supplemental Environmental Impact Report certified by the City Council on January 4, 2012. STAFF RECOMMENDATION 1. Adopt the resolution (Attachment 1) approving a General Plan Amendment to replace the Housing Element of the General Plan adopted on April 15, 2003 with the updated Housing Element for the 2007-2014 planning period.
