CiTY OF PLEASANTO~t <br /> COUNTY OF ALAM£DA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ~139 <br />R~'~nLUTION NO. <br /> <br /> ACCEPTING OF GRANT AND QUITCLAIM <br /> FOR REAL PROPERTY, WATER RIG.S, <br /> AND WATER MAINS. <br /> <br />WHerEAS, The CITY AND COUNTY OF SAN FP~NCISC0, a municipal <br />~orporation, pursuant to contract for sale of real property dated <br />November 23, 1960, has tendered delivery of a quitclaim deed <br />conveying to the CITY OF PT.F,~SANTON, a general law city, located <br />in Alameda County, California, the title to real property, water <br />rights owned and controlled by the City of San Francisco, and <br />water mains in place in public rights of way, described hereafter; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is for the best interest for the CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON to accept delivery of said quitclaim deed; <br /> <br /> NOW, T~EFORE, THE G)UNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOV~S: <br /> <br /> l) The CITY OF PLEASANTON does hereby accept the quitclaim <br />and conveyance from said City and County of San Francisco, a <br />municipal corporation, dated January 15, 1961. <br /> <br /> 2) That said real property is described in EXHIBIT "A", <br />attached hereto. <br /> <br /> 3) The terms and conditions of said conveyance is more par- <br />ticularly described in the indenture dated January 18, 1961. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTheR RESOLVED that the City Clerk of the City of <br />Pleasanton shall have this Resolution accepting said grant signed <br />by the Mayor of the City of Pleasanton, and shall present to the <br />Recorder of the County of Alameda the above described deed and a <br />copy of this Resolution, certified as a true and correct copy, for <br /> <br />the purpose of recording same. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
