2/ An agreemen~ for a sale of the water system serving <br /> ?leasanton, including well site, p~aps, appurtenances and water <br /> rights reserved by deed in grants by Sprii~g Valley Water Comp~my, <br /> affecting lands generally north of Pleasanton, for the sum of <br /> $40,000.00, payable in lawful money 30 days after election re- <br /> sults approving this agreement have become final. This agree- <br /> ment shall not affect other lands or wells owned in fee by <br /> San Francisco. Pleasanton sh~ll assume obligations of San <br /> Francisco accruing after June 30, 1960, unde~~ the 1916 Agreement <br /> to Leadowlark Dairy, John Koopman and the Zieasanton Township <br /> County Water District. San ~'rancisco, as part of the consid~rati~ <br /> for this agreement and in accordance with existing water law~ <br /> shall agree not to export water from the ~leasanton underground <br /> water basin. Service to Castlewood Country Club and Oakmead Farm <br /> lands, under Spring Valley asreements, shall not be considered an <br /> export. <br /> <br /> 3) An interim operating agreement, pending approval of <br />the sale of a portion of a utility, as described in paragraph (b) <br />above, being a modification of the existing 1955 agreement where- <br />by Pleasanton operates and services the water system. San <br />Francisco shall not charge Pleasanton for water pumped after <br />June ~0, 1960.
