Ei~~, it appears that negotiations commenced in 1954 have <br />now produced a fair and eluitable solution to the mutual problems <br />of Pleasanton and San Frs. r. cisco; <br /> <br /> NOW ~FOPul, TPII~] CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEAS.i~TON <br />DOES PIEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Pleasanton, acting through its City Council, hereby declares <br />its intent, and does hereby offer to San Francisco, to enter an <br />agreement or agreements providing the following points and pro- <br />c edures. <br /> <br /> 1) An agreement compromising a claim, without admitting <br />liability, for water furnished tleasanton by San Francisco for <br />the sum of ~36~02&.52, payable in installments of ~i1~024.52 on <br />or before January 3, 196~; and ~5,000.00 on each and every <br /> <br />Ju/~e )0th commencing June 30, 1961, until the full amount is paid <br />Completion of said payments shall be contingent upon agreements <br />described below as to sale of utilities to become effective.
