e. Space shall be provided for solar-heating tank. <br /> These measures shall be shown on the building permit plan set submitted to the <br /> Director of Community Development for review and approval before issuance of <br /> the building permit. <br /> 19.A minimum of one appliance or system that meets Energy Star standards shall be <br /> installed as part of the project. <br /> 20.A minimum of one water conservation device such as low-flow faucets, toilets, <br /> shower fixtures, etc. shall be installed as part of the project. The water conservation <br /> devices(s) shall be stated on the plans submitted for the issuance of a building <br /> permit. <br /> 21.The project developer shall prepare a voluntary program of alternative transportation <br /> measures including, but not limited to, rideshare matching and subsides/rewards, <br /> preferential parking, and carpooling/vanpooling, the means by which these <br /> measures will be marketed to the employees, and the provisions of reports to the <br /> City of Pleasanton of the performance of the trip reduction program. <br /> 22.Energy efficient lighting shall be installed as part of the project. The energy efficient <br /> light shall be shown on the plans submitted for the issuance of a building permit. <br /> 23.The project developer shall effectively screen from view all ducts, meters, air <br /> conditioning equipment, and any other mechanical equipment, whether on the <br /> structure, on the ground, or on the roof, with materials architecturally compatible with <br /> the building. Screening details shall be shown on the plans submitted for issuance <br /> of building permits, the adequacy of which shall be determined by the Director of <br /> Community Development. All required screening shall be provided prior to <br /> occupancy. <br /> 24.AII trash and refuse shall be contained completely within the approved trash <br /> enclosure. The materials and color of the enclosure shall match the building and the <br /> gates shall be corrugated metal or solid wood. The design of the enclosure shall be <br /> shown on the plans submitted for issuance of building permits and shall be subject <br /> to the approval of the Director of Community Department and Fire Chief. Trash <br /> containers shall be stored within the enclosure at all times, except when being <br /> unloaded. <br /> 25.The location of any pad-mounted transformers shall be subject to approval by the <br /> Director of Community Development prior to issuance of permits by the Building and <br /> Safety Division. Such transformers shall be screened by landscaping or contained <br /> within an enclosure matching the building and with corrugated metal or wood gates. <br /> All Transformers shall be shown on the plans submitted for issuance of building <br /> permits. The project developer shall attempt to locate transformers at the rear of the <br /> site. <br /> Page 4 of 21 <br />
