with one another with respect to fire prevention and suppression issues in the <br /> parklands. <br /> 3. OPERATIONS <br /> A. Maintenance <br /> Except as otherwise specifically provided herein, each party shall maintain <br /> its property in good condition. Each party shall employ reasonable safety <br /> precautions in performing its maintenance. <br /> 2. Subject to the review and approval of CITY's Director of Community <br /> Services and the Director of Operations Services Department or their <br /> designees, DISTRICT, at its own expense, shall grade those portions of <br /> the CITY's Ridgeline Trail that connect the properties of DISTRICT, as <br /> said portion of the Trail is shown and identified on the attached Exhibit <br /> "A". DISTRICT shall perform this work to the same standards as it <br /> provides to its own Ridgeline properties and shall perform this work on <br /> the same schedule as it provides on its own Ridgeline properties. <br /> 3. CITY shall provide sufficient information to DISTRICT, including depth <br /> and location of utilities, to enable DISTRICT equipment operators to <br /> avoid damage to said utilities. DISTRICT shall not be responsible for the <br /> cost to repair damage to CITY roads or utilities due to inaccurate <br /> information provided by CITY or due to landslide, subsidence, erosion or <br /> other earth movement (collectively "earth movement"), unless such <br /> earth movement is caused by the negligent act of DISTRICT or its <br /> contractors or agents. <br /> B. Water <br /> Without charge, DISTRICT, may connect to and use for fire suppression <br /> purposes water from CITY's water supply and distribution system located on the <br /> Ridge. <br /> DISTRICT will be subject to water connection fees and user charges for other <br /> water. All water service installation and use must comply with City of <br /> Pleasanton water department standard specifications. <br /> C. Employee Access <br /> Each agency shall allow employees of the other unrestricted vehicular access to <br /> its respective properties for the purposes of public safety and routine <br /> maintenance in the course of their work duties.
