WHEREAS, on the day fixed for the hearing, at the time and place fixed as above stated~ the Council heard evidence offered by all interested persons; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: 1) This Council finds from all the evidence submitted, that the portion of Third Street hereafter described is not necessary for present or prospective public street purposes, and therefore this Council does hereby order that the following described portion of Third Street be and is hereby abandoned and vacated, to wit: ALL THAT REAL PROPERTY situated in the City of Pleasanton, Alameda County, California, further described as follows: Beginning at a point on the westerly line of Third Street, as Third Street is so delineated on that certain map entitled '%~ap of the Town of Pleasanton, Alameda County, California", date~ December 1, 1869, and filed February 24, 1870, in Map Book 5 at page 35 thereof, Official Records of Alameda County, California, said point of beginning being south 41 degrees, 19 minutes and 30 seconds west (the bearing of Third Street being taken as south 41°, 19 minutes 30 seconds west for the purpose of making this description) 100 feet from the southerly line of Abbie Street; thence from said point of beginning south 41°, 19 minutes 30 seconds west 552.97 feet; thence south 66°, 25 minutes 30 seconds east 84.00 feet; thence north 41°, 19 minutes 30 seconds east 527.36 feet; thence north 48°, 40 minutes 30 seconds west 80.00 feet to the point of beginning; consisting of 0.9921 acre.
