CITY OF PL£^SANTON <br /> COUNTY OFALAM£DA <br /> ,STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION VACATING A PORTION OF <br /> THIRD STREET, SOUTH OF ABBIE STREET, <br /> PLEASANTON, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on September 1~, 1961, this Council passed its <br /> resolution No. 3228 declaring its intentions to proceed under <br /> Part 3, Division 9, being Section 8320 of the Streets and Highway~ <br /> Code, State of California, entitled Street Vacation Act of 1941, <br /> to vacate a portion of Third Street, south of Abbie Street, <br /> located in the City of Pleasanton, which is lawfully, officially <br /> and commonly known as hereinafter set forth; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, said resolution of intention fixed a time and place <br />for hearing all persons interested in or objecting to the pro- <br />posed vacation, to wit: 8:00 p.m., Monday, October 30, 1961, in <br />the Council Chambers, City Hall, Pleasanton, California, said time <br />and place being not less than fifteen days from the date of <br />adoption of Resolution No. 322~ and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, said resolution was published in the manner pre- <br />scribed by law for the publication of such resolution in the City <br />of Pleasanton, to wit: once on October 11, 1961, in "The Times'~, <br />a newspaper published within the City of Pleasanton; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on October 11, 1961, notices of said street vacatior <br />were posted conspicuously along the street proposed to be vacated <br />not more than three hundred feet apart, said notices stating the <br />passage of the Resolution No. 3228, the intent to vacate a portio~ <br />of said street, and giving the time and place of the above <br />described hearing; and <br /> <br />- 1 - <br /> <br /> <br />
