COMMISSION REPORTS <br /> Housing Scholarship Program Committee — No report. <br /> Paratransit Advisory Committee — No report. <br /> Senior Advisory Committee -- Commissioner Wilson advised that he had attended the last <br /> meeting as well as the Health Faire. He noted that the Fire Department is working on issues <br /> relating to obstruction by trees and building numbers. <br /> Valley Mental Health Committee — Commissioner Wilson attended the National Association of <br /> Mental Illness meeting and commented on the growing need of help in the City of Pleasanton. <br /> Commissioner Wright also reported on the recent Health Faire at Chabot College. <br /> Brief reports on any other meetings, conferences, and/or seminars attended by Commission <br /> members — No reports. <br /> COMMISSION COMMENTS <br /> Commissioner Lambert advised that the Pleasanton Unified School District is looking to <br /> purchase a bus for transporting autistic children to school in Moraga. Chairperson Nagler <br /> suggested the Commission keep in mind the growing need for help for autistic children. <br /> STAFF COMMENTS <br /> Ms. Yurchak reminded Commissioners that they needed to complete Form 700. Also the next <br /> meeting of the Needs Assessment Steering Committee was scheduled for September 19, 2011 <br /> and a joint meeting with the City of Livermore Human Services Commission is planned for <br /> October 11, 2011 and will include a presentation from the Needs Assessment consultants. <br /> ADJOURNMENT <br /> There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 9:40 p.m. <br /> Human Services Commission Minutes <br /> August 17, 2011 <br /> Page 9 <br />
