On April 14, 2011, City staff met with California Emergency Management Authority (Cal <br /> EMA) to start the process to file a claim for reimbursement for the local emergency. Cal <br /> EMA staff indicated that currently no other claims have been submitted in our county for <br /> the same event and that the costs incurred did not reach the dollar value required to <br /> issue a declaration of State or Federal emergency.
