ATTACHMENT 1 <br /> CROSSING GUARD PROGRAM AGREEMENT <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this 1st day of August, 2011 by and between ALL CITY <br /> MANAGEMENT SERVICES, INC„a California CORPORATION (hereinafter "Consultant"), and the <br /> City of Pleasanton, a municipal corporation organized and existing under the Constitution and <br /> laws of the State of California (hereinafter "City"). <br /> RECITALS <br /> A. The City desires to retain an entity having special skill and knowledge in the field <br /> of crossing guards. <br /> B. Consultant represents that Consultant is able and willing to provide such services <br /> to the City. <br /> C. In undertaking the performance of this Agreement, Consultant represents that it <br /> is knowledgeable in its field and that any services performed by the Consultant <br /> under this Agreement shall be performed in compliance with such standards as <br /> may reasonably be expected from a professional consulting firm in the field. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual and respective promises, and subject to the <br /> terms and conditions hereafter set forth,the parties agree as follows: <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> Consultant shall perform school crossing guard services for the City of Pleasanton and <br /> the school district within the Pleasanton city limits. The scope of work shall be as <br /> follows: <br /> A. The Consultant shall monitor, supervise, and assure the safety of all school <br /> children who utilize intersections and crosswalk while moving to and from school <br /> zones. <br /> B. The Consultant shall perform all work to the highest professional standard in any <br /> manner deemed reasonably satisfactory by the Chief of Police or the Chief of <br /> Police's designee. <br /> C. Consultants shall provide an estimated 15,576 hours per year of crossing guard <br /> services by qualified adult crossing guards approved by the City during pre- <br /> determined time periods at specific locations throughout the City as shown in <br /> Exhibit"D".
