CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1074 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO THE EXPIRATION AND <br /> EXTENSION OF TENTATIVE SUBDIVISION MAP APPROVALS <br /> AMENDING SECTION 2-3.12, AND DELETING SECTION <br /> 2-3.13 OF ARTICLE 6 (THE FINAL MAP), AND ADDING <br /> SECTIONS 2-2.51 AND 2-2.52 TO ARTICLE 4 (TENTATIVE <br /> MAP), CHAPTER 1 (SUBDIVISIONS), TITLE II (ZONING <br /> AND DEVELOPMENT) OF THE ORDINANCE CODE OF THE CITY <br /> OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY <br /> ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: Article 4 (Tentative Map), Chapter 1 (Subdivisions), <br /> of Title II (Zoning and Development) of the Ordinance <br /> Code of the City of Pleasanton is amended by <br /> adding the following subsections: <br /> <br /> "§2-2.51 Expiration. Tentative map approval shall <br /> expire twenty-four (24) months after approval or <br />-- conditional approval of the tentative map, or such <br /> longer time as mandated by the Subdivision Map Act <br /> (Government Code Section 66410, et seq.). <br /> <br /> §2-2.52 Time Extension. Upon. written application of <br /> the subdivider mad~ prior~ to the expiration of the <br /> tentative map, the Planning Commission may grant <br /> an extension of time not exceeding one (1) year <br /> for the filing of a final map. Additional extensions <br /> not exceeding one (1) year each may subsequently <br /> be granted provided that the total length of time <br /> for all such extensions granted under this section <br /> shall not exceed a total of three (3) years for <br /> any tentative map. Application for an extension <br /> shall be made to the Planning Commission prior to <br /> the expiration of tentative map approval, or any <br /> extension thereof, and shall be accompanied with a <br /> fee as set forth in the Resolution Establishing <br /> Fees and Charges. Said application must include <br /> the reasons, or bases for the requested extension. <br /> If the Planning Commission denies a subdivider's <br /> application for extension, the subdivider may <br /> appeal to the City Council within fifteen (15) <br /> days after the Planning Commission has denied the <br /> extension." <br /> <br /> <br />
