Public Comment <br /> Fred Norman spoke of the wars and noted that 51 men and women have died, as well as 1 <br /> soldier from Pleasanton who was severely wounded. <br /> Chris Mosser spoke of the media reports on the economy. <br /> Doug Miller, Post Commander of the VFW, extended appreciation to the City for co-hosing the <br /> annual Memorial Day Service at the Senior Center. In conjunction with the Farmers Market and <br /> service groups they co-hosted a pancake breakfast to raise money and goods to deployed <br /> service members and collected $2600 which paid for 200 boxes to be shipped overseas.
