MATTERS INITIATED BY COMMISSION MEMBERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Blank noted that at the last meeting, there was discussion about whether <br />other cities adhere to private CC&Rs for homeowner associations (HOA). He indicated <br />that he researched the issue and that he is not 100 percent convinced that the City is on <br />solid ground in terms of its absolution. He requested staff to look into this matter and <br />return with guidance if there is case law. He further requested that staff review the <br />Planning Commission meeting minutes that established the HOA check box on <br />because he believes staff might <br />find that it was established for the expressed purpose of ensuring HOA approval. <br /> <br />Ms. Harryman stated that she would look into this matter and advise the Commission of <br />her findings at a future meeting. <br /> <br />8.
