(1 day) <br /> Actions of the Planning Commission, June 22, 2011 <br /> Commissioners Present: Commissioners Phil Blank, Kathy Narum, Greg O'Connor; Arne <br /> Olson, Jennifer Pearce, and Jerry Pentin <br /> Commissioners Absent: None <br /> PGPA-17, City of Pleasanton <br /> Consider the Preliminary Draft Housing Element Submittal to the California Department of <br /> Housing and Community Development (HCD), including potential rezoning of sites for <br /> multi-family housing. <br /> The Commission unanimously recommended to the City Council and the Growth <br /> Management Subcommittee: <br /> 1. the Draft Housing Element, including Goals, Policies, and Programs and Potential <br /> Housing Sites, as a draft to be submitted for 60-day review by the California <br /> Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD); <br /> 2. that the letters received by the Commission after the staff report was completed be <br /> referred to staff for further analysis and recommendation to the City Council and the <br /> Growth Management Subcommittee <br /> 3. that the density of three acres on Site 7 (Pleasanton Gateway) be reduced from <br /> 30 units per acre to 23 units per acre; <br /> 4. that the density of three acres on Site 13 (CM Properties) be increased from 23 units <br /> per acre to 30 units per acre; <br /> 5. that the potential acreage for multi-family development on Site 8 (Auf der Maur/ <br /> Rickenbach) be increased from 5.3 acres to 11 .5 acres; <br /> 6. that new housing be required to provide for on-site parking rather than pay into the <br /> City's in-lieu parking fees; and <br /> 7. that all sites be forwarded to HCD with the caveat that the intent is to rezone only <br /> actual needed acreages. <br /> Actions of the Planning Commission, July 13, 2011 <br /> Commissioners Present: Commissioners Phil Blank, Kathy Narum, Greg O'Connor; Arne <br /> Olson, Jennifer Pearce, and Jerry Pentin <br /> Commissioners Absent: None <br /> Page 2 of 3 <br />
