FOR $33,400 FOR PREPARATION OF A <br /> BASELINE CONDITIONS SUMMARY REPORT FOR A FUTURE EAST <br /> PLEASANTON SPECIFIC PLAN <br /> SUMMARY <br /> The Pleasanton General Plan calls for preparation of a specific plan for East Pleasanton <br /> in order to provide detailed planning guidance for this area where sand and gravel <br /> extraction recently ceased. Within the next several months, staff will present options to <br /> the City Council to consider with regard to organizing the planning process and selecting <br /> a consultant to assist in the preparation of the specific plan. In advance of that, and in <br /> order to provide a background document for use by staff, the public, and possibly a future <br /> steering or advisory committee, staff is seeking approval of a contract for $33,400 for <br /> Rasmussen Planning to prepare a baseline conditions summary report. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> 1. Authorize the City Manager to execute a Professional Services Agreement with <br /> Rasmussen Planning Inc., in the amount of $33,400 to complete a Baseline <br /> Conditions Summary Report for the East Pleasanton Specific Plan area. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> The cost of $33,400 will be advanced by Legacy Partners, a major landowner in East <br /> Pleasanton. Planning review and administration will be conducted by staff and is part of <br /> the Advance Planning budget. <br />
