"' 06 <br /> THE CITY OF OG <br /> CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> pLEASANTONe <br /> July 19, 2011 <br /> Community Development Department <br /> TITLE: PRZ-59, LYNN JANSEN — CONSIDER AN APPLICATION FOR <br /> REZONING APPROXIMATELY THREE-ACRES OF THE EXISTING <br /> APPROXIMATELY FOUR-ACRE SITE AT 1623 CINDY WAY FROM A <br /> (AGRICULTURE) DISTRICT TO PUD-MDR (PLANNED UNIT <br /> DEVELOPMENT — MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL) DISTRICT <br /> SUMMARY <br /> The applicant proposes to change the current zoning of an approximately three-acre <br /> portion of the existing approximately four-acre site from A (Agriculture) District to PUD- <br /> MDR (Planned Unit Development — Medium Density Residential) District; thus, <br /> conforming to the General Plan Land Use designation of Medium Density Residential. <br /> A Negative Declaration has been prepared which found that the proposed rezoning <br /> would not have a significant effect on the environment. <br /> PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION <br /> On June 8, 2011, the Planning Commission unanimously recommended approval of the <br /> proposed rezoning. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> 1. Find that the rezoning will not have a significant effect on the environment and <br /> adopt a resolution approving the attached draft Negative Declaration (Exhibit C); <br /> 2. Find that the proposed rezoning, PRZ-59, is consistent with the General Plan; <br /> 3. Introduce the attached draft ordinance approving PRZ-59. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> The City Council's action will have no financial impacts. Any future development will pay <br /> all required building permit and development impact fees and will pay property taxes. <br />
