Councilmember Sullivan stated that as <br /> demonstrated with the Hacienda Task Force and Affordable Housing Task Force, it can be done <br /> in a timely and comprehensive fashion. <br /> Councilmember McGovern referred to the Downtown Hospitality Zone description which states, <br /> "work closely with the City of Pleasanton", and she suggested changing the verbiage a bit. Mr. <br /> Fialho agreed and pointed out these were priorities that were recommended by the PDA for <br /> consideration, and wording can be reflected more to be City-initiated or driven. <br /> Vice Mayor Cook-Kallio said she met with members of the PDA to discuss this and she does not <br /> believe it is inconsistent with what their vision is. What they were trying to do is reach out and <br /> figure out a way to incorporate people and have a conversation. <br /> Councilmember Thorne said the Work Plan is aggressive and he hopes the City will be able to <br /> find money to do some of the capital projects. Councilmembers agreed. <br /> MOTION: It was M/S by Cook-Kallio/McGovern to approve the City Council Work Plan for <br /> 2011/2012.
