EXHIBIT A SCOPE OF SERVICES Little Valley Winery agrees to diligently and faithfully furnish the following services to the City of Pleasanton, for the Term of this Agreement: To provide concessionaire services and wine and beer service in accordance with City- sponsored performance and special event schedules at the Firehouse Arts Center as determined by the Community Services Department. A. Basic Services: 1. Concessions— Little Valley Winery will provide beverage service, including wine, beer (when deemed appropriate by the City), and/or suitable non-alcoholic beverages; and serve appropriate food items prior to, and possibly during, (as appropriate) identified City-sponsored performances in the Firehouse Arts Center. Service will be conducted primarily at the Firehouse Grand Lobby Concession Bay. B. Related Services and Conditions: 1. The City and Little Valley Winery will work together to explore other possible locations and equipment for beverage and food service and sales in the Grand Lobby and on the adjacent patios outside the facility, i.e. portable food, beverage, and espresso carts, etc. 2. Little Valley Winery will provide, train and supervise the necessary personnel required for fulfilling concession services, and for performing tasks related and incidental hereto. All sales transactions and cash handling will be conducted by Little Valley Winery personnel. City and Little Valley Winery may, from time to time, mutually agree to augment Little Valley Winery's personnel with Firehouse Arts Center volunteers with appropriate training and supervision by Little Valley Winery. Little Valley Winery personnel shall be dressed in appropriate attire and project an appearance and demeanor that are commensurate with the Firehouse Arts Center brand of high quality, and sophistication. 3. Little Valley Winery will furnish all wine and food serving equipment, glassware, plates, utensils, napkins, etc. City will provide Little Valley Winery with access to the facility refrigerators, ice maker, storage lockers, sinks, concession bay, etc. to support Little Valley Winery's concession and serving operations. Little Valley Winery staff will operate all equipment and maintain all serving areas in a professional, clean, and neat manner. Little Valley Winery personnel will be responsible for clean up of all beverage and food storage and serving areas at the immediate conclusion of each event. Little Valley Winery will also provide and operate its own money handling equipment. 6
